SkiftX is Skift’s in-house branded material studio providing best-in-class multi-platform programs for Skift’s flagship brand, in addition to sibling brand names EventMB and Airline company Weekly. Our brand work drives how the travel market talks to its stakeholders, externally and internally.
SkiftX is searching for a full-time Branded Material Editor to sign up with the team, with a heavy focus on writing/editorial. As the Editor for our commercial work, you will straddle pre-and post-sale ideation and production, with a concentrate on meetings and events-specific branded content programs for both SkiftX and EventMB. You will deliver operate in both composed and virtual occasion formats. This position is remote/WFH, throughout the United States or the United Kingdom.

A few of What You’ll Do
- REALLY CRUCIAL: Post-sale composed content production: Compose and/or handle freelancers who establish award-winning branded content programs with a focus on the conferences and events market. Formats consist of: articles, infographics, occasion reports, reports, and videos. This is the bulk of the task.
- Pre-sale ideation: Facilitate Skift’s sales team in the development of tactical program concepts for high-value customers when required
- Skift Live partner event moderation and production: Research, script, and moderate partner events including, but not restricted to Top and Forum talks, custom panel conversations, in addition to webinars
- Collaborate with sales and SkiftX team to grow product suite
- Make sure all content preserves a high level of quality, includes a consistent tone and design, and supports and strengthens crucial messages focused on Skift and EventMB’s audiences
The Experience You Bring
- Proven experience in a high-output, fast-moving, marketing and/or editorial environment (ideally in B2B digital publishing)
- Exceptional communication and writing skills: Experience ideating, modifying, writing, and proofing long-form and short-form content in a variety of formats
- Experience dealing with clients, managing customer relationships and feedback
- Knowledge in developing and providing top-level discussions and producing and refining proposals and sales materials
- Experience managing freelancers and contributing writers
- Comprehending of, and deep interest in, consumer patterns in travel, tech, media, marketing, luxury, and health
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Google Drive
