The smattering of infection rises around Europe and the slower vaccine rollout most likely gives the U.S. pause to invite EU travelers.

President Joe Biden’s administration is dealing with the lifting of COVID-19 travel limitations imposed on EU residents but it is premature to put a date on any such relocation, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Friday.
“We are anxious to be able to restore travel as completely and quickly as possible. I can’t put a date on it, we have to be directed by the science, by medical know-how,” Blinken told a press conference in Paris alongside his French equivalent.
